Partners of the Los Angeles Medical Mission Team

HELPS International has developed a system of volunteer medical teams to address the healthcare crisis in rural areas of Latin America. These teams comprise about 70 members, from physicians and surgeons to nurses and support staff. HELPS’ teams are organized by a system of local chapters throughout the United States.

 

 

Saul Brandman Foundation was established in the 1970s by Saul Brandman to support various charitable causes. The Foundation provides support for more than 100 charities, including the Jewish Free Loan, Our House, UCLA Pulmonary Project, Cedars-Sinai Pulmonary Project, Jewish Home for the Aging’s new Westside Project, and the new Jewish Home for the Aging’s Research Institute, Aspen Foundation, International Hearing Dog Foundation, the Israel-American Chamber of Commerce, Ben Gurion University and Hebrew University. Following Saul’s passing in 2008, his wife, Joyce, oversees the Brandman Foundation and expands on its charitable projects.
